Ab Blast

AquaFit

Aquafit is a water-based group exercise class designed to improve cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength, and overall mobility, all while minimising impact on the joints. Conducted in the swimming pool and led by a qualified instructor, the class incorporates a range of aerobic movements and resistance exercises. Aquafit is suitable for all fitness levels and does not require swimming ability. It offers a safe and inclusive environment for individuals looking to maintain or improve their physical health through low-impact, water-based exercise.

Aqua Lite

Aqua-lite is a low-impact workout that takes place in a pool. This type of fitness class is designed to provide a full-body workout while minimizing the impact on joints and reducing the risk of injury. Aqua-lite classes usually involve a combination of cardio and resistance training exercises, such as jogging, cycling, and weight lifting, using water as resistance. Our circuit classes provide a rigorous, full-body workout as you tackle a sequence of high-intensity physical challenges designed to make you fitter and stronger. You’ll perform a challenging mix of bodyweight drills and equipment exercises in a chain of circuit training stations that will build your strength, stamina, and endurance. It is an excellent way to improve cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength and endurance in a social, encouraging environment. Circuits is a popular method of training.

Junior Gym

We are pleased to now finally be able to offer Junior Gym. Open to students in Year 7 and above, these instructor lead sessions will take place in the Fitness Suite. Participants will have the opportunity to use cardio equipment, free weights and the DAP machine, helping them build a solid foundation in strength and fitness. They will also learn essential gym etiquette, ensuring they are fully prepared to use the Fitness Suite independently once they turn 16.

Kettlebells

In our Kettlebells classes you'll swing, lunge and squat your way through a variety of exercises helping you to achieve a toned body while improving your strength, flexibility and stamina. Kettlebells come in a range of weights so you can find one to suit you and build your strength over time.

Retro Riders

Retro Riders is specifically designed toward an older demographic and to those who are new to Spin. There will be no jumping or fast paced pedalling you would expect to see in our other spin classes. The instructor will take the time to guide you through a class that will give you the same benefits but at a more manageable pace. This class will be an hour long, to give participants time to build up a relationship and become part of a social community.

SwimFit

Swimfit class is a group exercise session focused on improving fitness and endurance through swimming. Led by a certified instructor who guides participants through a series of workouts and drills designed to enhance their swimming skills, cardiovascular endurance, and muscular strength. The class may include a warm-up, technique training, interval training, and a cool-down. The workouts can be modified to accommodate participants of different skill levels and may incorporate equipment such as kickboards and pull buoys.

Power Circuits is an early morning, high-energy, full-body workout designed to build strength, boost endurance, and keep your heart rate elevated from start to finish.

Walking Football

Walking football is a modified version of traditional football, designed to be played at a slower pace, with a key rule being that players must walk rather than run during the game. The class is aimed at those with physical limitations, encouraging fitness, social interaction and a sense of community without the physical strain of full-speed play. It retains many of the basic rules of football, but with a focus on skill, tactics and teamwork.
